Birtcher™ Wedge-Tainer™ — Series 340
The Wedge-Tainer™ series of locking retainers are designed for heavy shock and vibration, and for effective heat dissipation in sheet metal chassis/heat sink applications. The design combines chassis mounted housing with Wedge-Lok® retainers.

Support PCB Board Thickness from 0.060" (1.52 mm) to 0.094" (2.39 mm)
Zero Entry Force
Screw Mounted (#4 40 UNC 2B) to the Cold Wall
Profile Dimensions: 0.480" (12.19 mm) W × 0.315" (8.0 mm) H
Material: Aluminum Alloy (6061-T6 per ASTM-B221 or QQ-A-220/8), Finish: Chem Film (MIL-C-5541, Class 1A, Gold)
Applications:
Designed for Sheet Metal/Heat Sink Applications where the Retainer is not Mounted to the PCB, or where a Machined Cold Wall Slot is not Available or, not Desired to Reduce Costs
