Military Potentiometer. 1/2-watt conductive plastic. Economical sealed potentiometers meet the flow solderability and washability test requirements, and MIL-R-94 apply where appropriate. QPL listed. Highly stable unit with high resolution for applications requiring miniaturization and reliability. 1/8" dia. metal shaft (7/8" long STD; 5/8" long on locking). 1/2" body diameter. Dynamic Noise: 1.5%. Rotational Life: 50,000 cycles. Operating Temperature: -40° to +120°C. Other shaft lengths and styles, tolerances and tapers, resistance values and bushings available as special order items. Specifications. Resistance Tolerance: ±10%. Power Rating: 0.5 watt @ 70°C. Derated to zero power @ 120°C. Electrical and Mechanical Rotation: 295° ±5°. Effective Rotation: 265° +0° -10°. End Resistance: 5 max. — up to 750; 10 max. — above 750. Functional Output: Linear. Dielectric Strength: 750 VAC for 60 seconds @ ATM; 350 VAC for 60 seconds. 3.44 in H.G. Working Voltage: 350 VDC maximum, but power not to exceed rating. Available with standard or locking type bushing. RV6L — locking bushing; RV6N — standard bushing.
