Anywhere there is an antenna-like structure such as power cord or I/O cable, in the presence of a microprocessor, there is a need for RFI suppressors to control unwanted high frequency interference by allowing data signals to pass unimpeded, and absorbing the high frequency energy. The section below is an assortment of the most popular sizes in the most universally applicable broadband formula — effective up to 1 GHz.
Ferrite assembly in fully enclosed nylon case; functional with wires and cables up to a 2.0" (50.8 mm) diameter. Snap closed around wire by clasping shut to position assembly. May also be mounted with a flat-head screw through the 0.120" (3.0 mm) diameter hole in the bottom by temporarily removing lower ferrite half.
