These ceramic coated power rheostats are designed to provide exceptional reliability through the application of modern manufacturing techniques and the use of sophisticated materials. The base and ring are molded of high density ceramic. The winding is uniform to maintain maximum resolution and power dissipation. The insulator is molded of high density, porcelain/ceramic. Three terminals permit use as a potentiometer, or a rheostat. Durable ceramic cement coating provides the bonding medium necessary to securely attach the ring and base together and to lock the windings from shifting. 300° rotation. MP06A has 1/8" shaft; MP10A, MP15A, MP25A, and MP30A have 1/4" shaft; MP40A has 3/8" shaft. Standard position for the locating tab is at 6 o'clock with the terminals down.
