NA1-5 Picking Sensor
The NA1-5 series is an ultra slim bodied picking sensor designed for picking applications such as preventing wrong parts being picked and detecting parts with a wide positioning area. Either of the two different detection operations may be selected in order to suit the particular application, the interruption of 1 or more beam channels or the interruption of 2 or more beam channels. Thus the the accidental passage of small objects through the beam axis will not trigger detection, yet the operator’s hands will always be accurately detected. This function is also useful when small objects regularly interrupt the beam axis. Sensor units can be set to different light emission frequencies in order to prevent mutual interference, meaning two NA1-5 sensors can be operated in a side-by-side configuration for problem free detection over wider areas.
