Model 18 Series controls provide infinitely variable AC voltage in a compact, solid-state package. Unique “self-protecting” design includes fast-acting “2 millisecond” fuses for short-circuit protection; integral chassis heatsink eliminates thermal derating. Applications: Replaces variable transformers, electric heater control, hot-wire cutting, heat sealing, light dimming, plastics molding and extruding, and food preparation.
Model 18TB Series controls include a control potentiometer that can be remotely mounted up to 100 feet away. 2 feet of pot cable included.
