IP68 Metric Gland
Glands for use with screened cable are designed to connect the screen of the cable to the enclosure screening system. This is achieved by the use of 2 tapered rings applying force onto an endless spring washer against the screen, to ensure a positive contact.,Assembly is simply by exposing the screen, applying spring and washers, then tightening the brass cable gland assembly, the gland bonds the screen to the housing. A santoprene rubber seal (Polyolefin) provides good weather and chemical resistance.,IP68 protection.
