The TCSMCNAM3M002P converter is a programming cable that acts after its proper installation as virtual COM port on the PC system. It converts serial signals, via the USB connection, into RS-485 signals. It provides a link between a PC equipped with a type A USB port and RS-485 devices equipped with an RJ45 plug. In addition to the pure communication functionality it detects if the connected Schneider R-485 device requires power supply and provides the proper voltage (0 V, 5 V or 10 V) automatically.
