A CP243-2 AS-i master module is an interface module which enables a S7-200 CPU to be connected to a AS-i network. The module can communicate with up to 31 nodes and each may have a maximum of 4 inputs and 4 outputs, therefore the module has the ability to be connected to 124 inputs and outputs.
