The repairable NCG cylinder is lighter and more economical than a conventional tie-rod style cylinder and can withstand higher side loads than a compact cylinder. The tube and covers are hard anodized to improve impact and scratch resistance. In addition to these features, a piston wear ring is available as standard to improve the side loading capabilities. The NCG series is available in six bore sizes ranging from 20 mm to 63 mm and with eight different mounting styles. NCG cylinders are now stocked at SMC's Indianapolis production facility. Cylinders can be shipped directly from stock or accessorized with mounting kits and/or auto-switches in the factory.
