Enabling grip switch with double snap action gives operator a distinct feel for three easily discernible positions. Switch position one: No grip applied and there are two normally open plus one normally closed set of contacts. Switch position two: Light grip results in change to two closed and one normally closed set of contacts. Switch position 3: Firm grip results in all three switch contacts open. Single-press design allows switch to function whether pressed in the middle or side of actuator.
